Who we are

A rice family, and an export house

The mill in Bundi has been in the Nyati family since 1972. Tansen Agro Exports is the company that takes what it makes to overseas buyers — importers, distributors, wholesalers and private-label brands.

Paddy is bought across the basmati belt of Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan, aged twelve to twenty-four months, milled on rubber rolls and colour sorted on our own line. Nothing is bought in finished and relabelled.

  • Two plants in Bundi, Rajasthan
  • ISO · HACCP · GMP certified
  • Private label for every market we serve

The range

A Rice Portfolio for Diverse Markets

From extra-long grain premium selections to practical food-service and retail options, our portfolio is designed around how rice is cooked, sold and enjoyed in different markets. Explore each variety and request the latest approved specifications.

  • Extra-long 1121 basmati grains, milled and polished Flagship

    1121 Basmati Rice

    8.35+ mm average grain length

The longest commercially milled basmati grain in the world, and the reason most first orders are placed. Aged before milling and supplied in all four forms.

  • Raw 1509 basmati rice in a wooden scoop Volume grade

    1509 Basmati Rice

    8.40+ mm average grain length

A shorter-duration crop with grain length close to 1121 and a firmer bite. The grade that keeps a large kitchen inside its food cost.

  • Extra-long 1718 basmati grains after milling Extra long

    1718 Basmati Rice

    8.40+ mm average grain length

Slender, very long and consistent in size, with a firmer kernel than 1121. Buyers who want length without the price of the flagship choose this one.

  • Sugandha basmati rice spread on a green surface Value tier

    Sugandha Basmati

    7.50 – 8.00 mm average grain length

Basmati aroma and character at a volume price. The grade that wins a tender when the specification says long grain and the budget says otherwise.

  • Cooked 1401 basmati rice served in a blue ceramic bowl All four forms

    1401 Basmati Rice

    7.80 mm average grain length

A dependable mid-length basmati with good elongation and a clean, even grain. Supplied raw, steamed or in either sella.

  • Pusa basmati rice in a dark bowl with a wooden spoon Classic

    Pusa Basmati Rice

    7.40 – 7.60 mm average grain length

The long-established Pusa line — well known in most import markets, easy to sell and available in every processing form we run.

  • Cooked PR long grain non-basmati rice in a dark bowl Non-basmati

    PR-11 / PR-14

    6.80 mm average grain length

Everyday long grain non-basmati, milled to the same tolerances as our basmati lines. Shipped in bulk where volume and price lead the decision.
